CN AUTO HR is a reference on Chinese car brands — who owns each badge, what its Chinese name means, and which countries it is actually sold in. It reviews nothing and ranks nothing; where a figure could not be confirmed against a primary document, the cell is left blank rather than guessed.

iFixCodes explains what HTTP status codes and WordPress errors mean and how to fix them, in words a site owner would use. The domain was a WordPress repair shop until it lapsed; the publisher who took it over keeps the old shop's plugin pages at their original URLs but retired its donation page.

The Safety Almanac dates every safety awareness day, week and month in the world, and ties each one to the injury it exists to prevent. A date is marked confirmed only once someone has read the organiser's own page and logged the day they read it; the rest are openly flagged as inferred.

AlloCovid answers the COVID questions people still ask — when isolation ends, whether an old test kit still works, how much is going around — with a date or a number, not an article. Every number is quoted from CDC or FDA with a link, and each data page prints the week its figures run through.

BirdBench makes small, free tools for North American birders, from hummingbird nectar ratios to nest box dimensions. One of them ranks eBird hotspots by species count times months since anyone filed a checklist, surfacing the good patch everyone drives past.

TextDet boxes every line of text in a photo, scan or screenshot, running the detector models in the browser rather than on a server. Its table of ten years of detectors deliberately refuses to rank them — the papers test on different datasets, so it reads as a timeline, not a leaderboard.

WashCodes turns the care symbols printed on a clothing tag into one plain-English washing plan. When symbols on the same tag pull in different directions it always resolves to the stricter reading, never the loosened one.

StillEdible answers how long a given food keeps — pantry, fridge, freezer, opened, or left out overnight. Every number is quoted verbatim from USDA's FoodKeeper data, never rounded or averaged, unlike the guesswork most 'how long does it last' pages run on.

SchoolStartDates tracks first days, breaks and last days for the 2026–27 school year across 125 of the largest US school districts. Districts that haven't adopted a 2026–27 calendar yet say so rather than carrying last year's dates forward, and every date names and links the calendar it came from.

PollenDates gives the typical start, peak and end dates for tree, grass and ragweed pollen in every US state. It runs no daily counts and no symptom advice — ragweed's end is simply the local first-frost date from NOAA's 1991–2020 records.

Harvey is an AI platform for legal work — research, document review, contract analysis — used by law firms and corporate legal departments. It was started in 2022 by a litigation associate and a former DeepMind researcher who shared an apartment, and is named after Harvey Specter from Suits.

Shop is Shopify's own shopping app and website, where the millions of independent brands that run on Shopify can be browsed in one place. Shopify spent years insisting it was not a marketplace; this is the one place it meets shoppers directly, and it charges the brands listed no marketplace fee.

ExpiredFeed publishes daily lists of deleted, pending-delete and newly registered domains, aimed at domain investors, SEOs and developers. When the daily import stalls, a red banner on the homepage says so rather than quietly serving a stale list as today's.

CutMath is a free set of woodworking calculators for the math before a cut: cutting layouts, board feet, wood movement, stair stringers. Every movement and hardness figure for its 100 species is taken from the USDA Forest Products Laboratory's Wood Handbook, which is public domain.

Bold Puzzles is a free collection of large-print word searches, sudoku, solitaire and trivia made for older adults and anyone reading with low vision. Words in its grids never run backwards, on the stated view that reversed words frustrate more than they challenge.

Jolie sells one product, a filtered showerhead, to people whose skin and hair react to chlorinated tap water. Its opening move is not the product but a free Water Report on what comes out of the pipes at a given US zip code — an unusual place to begin for a company selling bathroom hardware.

Club Pilates is a franchised chain of studios teaching reformer-based group Pilates to people at every fitness level. Founded in 2007, it crossed 1,500 studios in August 2026 — the largest Pilates brand in the world, and by a wide margin.

Quotev is a community where mostly young writers publish stories, fanfiction and personality quizzes for each other. It started in 2008 as a quiz site called Quizzaz, and still shelves chapter-by-chapter novels beside 'which character are you' quizzes instead of splitting them apart.

Wildflowerdates tracks when North America's wildflower blooms peak, desert floor to alpine meadow, for anyone planning a trip around one. It calls superbloom years from winter rain at NOAA stations against each desert's past big years, and names public reserves and roads only — never an exact pin.

Your Texas Benefits is the state portal where Texans apply for food, cash and health assistance and manage an open case. Texas Health and Human Services runs it, and a single application covers SNAP, TANF, Medicaid and CHIP — the prescreening tool comes first, before any account is required.

stats.fm gives Spotify listeners a running account of what they actually play — how often, for how long, and how their taste shifts over time. Spotify's API only exposes a recent window, so stats.fm accepts an upload of a full history export and counts every play back to the first one.

PlantDates is a set of free garden calculators for US gardeners — frost dates by ZIP, planting calendars by zone, plus bed, soil and spacing math. Frost dates come from 1991–2020 climate normals at 6,183 locations, and it says plainly that a median date is a coin flip — half of years frost later.

LawnDates tells US homeowners when to overseed, aerate, fertilize and put down pre-emergent for their own ZIP. Each city calendar names the actual NOAA station its dates come from and how far away it sits, then calls every window a starting point rather than a deadline.

HouseYears is a reference on how long each part of a house actually lasts, material by material. Every figure sits beside the published warranty term to show how far apart the two run — slate lasts 75 years or more, but its 100-year warranty covers exactly two failure modes.

Instructure makes Canvas, the learning management system that carries coursework, assignments and grading for schools and universities in over 100 countries. Canvas is open source under the AGPLv3, with its full codebase public on GitHub — unusual for infrastructure this entrenched.
