stats.fm
stats.fm gives Spotify listeners a running account of what they actually play — how often, for how long, and how their taste shifts over time. Spotify's API only exposes a recent window, so stats.fm accepts an upload of a full history export and counts every play back to the first one.
Why it earned its spot
The page runs on near-black with one saturated green as its only accent, so everything green on it — the wordmark bars, the inline links, the closing panel — reads as the same signal. The hero stacks three lines in graduated grey and lets only “your story” resolve to full white, a small typographic move that does the work a headline usually needs a second sentence for. Product shots stay inside tilted phone frames, keeping dense app UI from competing with the body copy. The live counters are set as plain left-aligned numerals with hourly deltas beneath them, and the closing green panel is the page’s only bright surface.
