Vercel
Vercel is the deployment platform behind Next.js, now selling itself as infrastructure for AI agents as much as for frontend teams. Its stark monochrome geometry — one triangle, almost no color — set the house style an entire generation of developer tools still copies.
Why it earned its spot
The current homepage rebuilds the famous triangle out of soft glowing dots on a near-white field, and that is about as decorative as Vercel ever gets. Everything else is grayscale discipline: a logo wall drained to monochrome, product demos framed like figures in a paper, type doing every job hierarchy requires. Because nothing on the page carries color, the single black button reads like a shout. It is the rare brand confident enough to own a shape and a gray ramp, and stop there.
