LawnDates
LawnDates tells US homeowners when to overseed, aerate, fertilize and put down pre-emergent for their own ZIP. Each city calendar names the actual NOAA station its dates come from and how far away it sits, then calls every window a starting point rather than a deadline.
Why it earned its spot
A pale sage page built on one narrow column: an oversized headline that turns green on the phrase that matters, a single row of check-marked claims underneath, and then everything else as cards and pills. Nine tools sit in a 3×3 grid of white cards, each with one emoji glyph and two lines of plain description, so the full toolset reads at a glance rather than through a menu. Grass types, seasonal tasks and all fifty states are compressed into small rounded chips — a lot of surface area flattened into browsable rows. The dark closing block and the greyed-out ‘coming soon’ card are the only tonal shifts in the whole scroll.
