Truemed lets Americans spend pre-tax HSA and FSA dollars on fitness equipment, supplements, sleep tech and recovery gear from partner brands like Peloton and Vuori. It sells nothing itself: a practitioner reviews a short health questionnaire and issues the letter of medical necessity behind the brand's own checkout button.
Why it earned its spot
The homepage is built like a storefront rather than a benefits portal: a run of horizontal shelves — Fitness, Health Tech, Sleep, Supplements, Red Light & Recovery, Adaptive Footwear, Home Health — each a row of square lifestyle photographs captioned only by a small partner wordmark. Colour comes almost entirely from those images, while the interface holds to deep pine green and warm cream with type kept small and unemphatic, so nothing competes with the products. The three-step explainer and the qualification screenshots sit low on the page, after all the browsing, which is the right order for a service most people reach already holding a cart.
