Why it earned its spot
The page is set on warm cream with a single teal accent, and the only ornament is a torn strip of wave that separates each block — a shoreline standing in for a rule. Everything below the headline is a list: twenty-six states in two columns, each with its beach count, then two card-sized signposts for the warmest-water ranking and the king tide dates. Type does all the structural work, a heavy sans for headings against a lighter body face, and nothing competes with the question set in the largest type at the top.
