Shop is Shopify's own shopping app and website, where the millions of independent brands that run on Shopify can be browsed in one place. Shopify spent years insisting it was not a marketplace; this is the one place it meets shoppers directly, and it charges the brands listed no marketplace fee.
Why it earned its spot
The page sits inside a floating white card with a slim icon rail parked outside it, so it reads as an app window rather than a web store. The hero scatters cut-out product photography across empty space — bottles, jars, one pulled forward with its star rating — with human figures dropped in at doll scale beneath the lilac lowercase wordmark and a single pill-shaped search field. Everything below is tiles: category grids captioned in small white type, then rows of brand panels, each a logo over a photograph with three products floating on white pills. Colour belongs almost entirely to the merchandise; the brand purple appears only in the wordmark and the offer badges.
