Why it earned its spot
The famous gradient earns its keep by knowing when to stop: one saturated sweep at the top, then page after page of disciplined white space, small caps labels, and product UI rendered at flattering angles. What the imitators keep missing is the density — Stripe packs real information into every viewport, code samples next to revenue charts next to globe animations, and holds it together with an unusually strict grid. Financial software sold with the confidence of a luxury catalog.
