Moxfield
Moxfield is a deck builder for Magic: The Gathering players who want to build, share and browse decks. It started as a two-person passion project, launched on Reddit in 2019, and remains independent of Wizards of the Coast, paid for by $1-a-month patrons.
Why it earned its spot
The page opens on a deep violet wash over dimmed card art, with a widely tracked all-caps wordmark and a single search field above small Decks, Cards and Brewers toggles. Below it the page turns pale grey, and the formats sit in a mosaic of card-art tiles, with Commander given the largest one, which says a lot about who plays here. A slanted purple band carries rows of circular creator avatars and breaks the grid without upsetting it. Muted, hatched Patreon strips separate the sections and ask for support quietly, where a louder ad banner would have gone.
