Sound Education
Sound Education turns words, minutes and audio settings into each other for podcasters, narrators, video scriptwriters and teachers. Every result prints the formula behind it, and gear specs come straight from manufacturers' sheets with a checked date — no reviews, no rankings, no blog.
Why it earned its spot
Near-black throughout, with a single amber accent doing all the signalling: the live conversion field, the small Open link on every card, and the one band near the foot that flips to solid yellow. Headlines run enormous and tightly set — “Twelve instruments. One topic.” — while the actual figures sit in monospace blocks that look like the terminal output they are, formula included. The calculator grid is deliberately uniform, twelve identical cards each carrying a worked example rather than a description. For a site whose whole claim is that its numbers are sourced and dated, the restraint reads as evidence.
